Welcome to the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust

The Trust operates from three main hospital sites: Furness General Hospital, Royal Lancaster Infirmary and Westmorland General Hospital.

Each hospital has a range of 'General Hospital' services, with full Accident & Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units and Consultant led beds at both Barrow and Lancaster plus a Primary Care Assessment Service with GP led inpatient beds in Kendal.

All three sites provide a range of planned care, including outpatients, diagnostics, therapies, day-case and inpatient surgery. In addition a range of local outreach services and diagnostics are provided from a number of community facilities.
