6. Arrive at the hospital
Arriving by Road
Follow hospital signs from A590. Situated on Dalton Lane, off Abbey Road (heading towards Dalton-in-Furness).
Car Parking
Designated parking for people with blue badges exists in front of all the main entrances and close to the entrance and exit of the main pay and display car park. Drivers with blue badges utilising these spaces are not required to pay.
There are also limited 20 minute short stay parking spaces in front of entrances. Please note that the pay and display machines only take coins, not notes or debit/credit cards. Enquiries concerning parking can be directed to the General Office, Monday to Friday during office hours, to the car park patrol staff or via the switchboard at all other times.

Personal listening devices for people with a hearing impairment are available at most clinic reception areas. These areas display the standard RNID purple notice.

Lonsdale Grill Opening Times (situated on Level Three):
Staff and visitor restaurant 8.00am – 7.00pm
Hot and cold snacks available all day.
Breakfast 8am – 11.15am / Lunch served 11.45 – 1.45pm / Supper served 5.15–7.15pm
Saturday and Sunday 7.00pm close.
WRVS Shop
Open 7 days a week (9am – 7.30pm Mon–Thurs/1.30 – 7.30pm Sat/2 – 7pm Sun) selling a range of items from newspapers, cards, confectionary and snacks to cold drinks and gifts.
WRVS Tea Bars
Open 9am - 4pm Monday-Friday selling a range of hot beverages and snacks.
There is also a small tea bar in the Physiotherapy Rehab Area open Monday/Tuesday 9am – 11.30am and 1.30 – 4.00pm.
WRVS Ward Trolleys
Visiting ward areas every afternoon from Monday-Friday selling sweets, drinks and toiletries.
WRVS Library Service
Operating Monday/Wednesday/Friday afternoon to ward areas.
FGH General Office
