Care Quality Commission Review of Compliance - maternity and midwifery services
Following a recent unannounced Care Quality Commission (CQC) visit of maternity care services across its three main hospitals, University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust (UHMBT) was found to be ‘compliant’ in four of the ten standards assessed, with ‘moderate’ concerns in three and ‘major’ concerns in three.
