It is always said that you don’t know someone until you’ve walked in their shoes and whilst we are all aware of the many different types of job roles across our hospitals, do we actually know what they involve?
To test this theory, the communications team – Phil, Louise and Helen, have arranged to spend time in different departments across the Trust, shadowing members of staff to see firsthand what their job involves and how they help us achieve our Trust vision. We have initially made arrangements to spend time with Domestic staff, Theatres, Sterile Services, Emergency Department at the RLI, the Chief Executive and behind the scenes at one of the restaurants.
