Press release from St John's Hospice

Jon Richardson is back for St John’s Hospice!

This time he’s uniting with some special guests to put on a fabulous livestream comedy event this Bank Holiday Monday through the GMCA fundraising platform United We Stream.

Some of you may have been at the Morecambe Winter Gardens 12 months ago when Jon and Friends performed live for St John’s Hospice– the show sold out within hours of the tickets being put online!

This time the show comes directly to your home; streaming live from 8pm – 10pm on Monday 25th May.

Challenged to raise charitable funds, Jon has invited many of his friends to join him and be part of this unique performance. With the final, amazing line up still a closely guarded secret, we may be on lockdown but we can guarantee you certainly will be entertained!

The first reveal of names is: Dave Gorman, Jack Whitehall, Lost Voice Guy, Russell Kane, Justin Moorhouse, Josh Widdicombe, Tez Illyas, the Lancashire Hotpots and more to come!

All you need to do is:

  • Step1: Go to https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/NoAudienceJonR  to donate your virtual ticket price - you can watch for free but if your circumstances allow a donation would be fabulous!
  • Step 2: Share the above link with your family and friends so as many people as possible can enjoythe show: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/NoAudienceJonR
  • Step 3: Head to www.unitedwestream.co.uk on Monday night at 8pm to enjoy the show!

Pay what you feel and donate the equivalent of a virtual ticket:

£5 ticket – you are happy to give it a go, might as well… not much else happening on Bank Holiday Monday and the pubs are closed.

£10 ticket – same as the £5 ticket…You know you won’t have to queue for the toilets or the bar! You think the event seems like a good idea and Jon is a funny man and you know you will be entertained.

£15 ticket – Same as the £10 ticket… You can have the best seat in the house, still no queues and you don’t have to get a taxi home! There is not much to spend your money on at the moment and you would like to support these amazing charities.

£20 ticket – You would have paid more than this for a ticket for the live show therefore you are happy to accept all of the above and really want this event to raise a phenomenal amount of money for charity.

On receipt of your donation you will receive the link to stream the comedy show.
