It's National #ODPDay on 14 May 2026!
Last year our surgical teams carried out over 20,000 operations across Morecambe Bay, and our Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) have a crucial role in caring for patients during each stage of their operations.
Today is an opportunity to recognise their truly vital contribution. Thank you to all of our amazing ODP's!

Across all our sites, you deliver compassionate care alongside clinical expertise, whilst nurturing a strong culture of team working, innovation and education. This was further demonstrated when Jane Hackett, ODP and student co-ordinator, won Star AHP Educator 2025!
