To celebrate World Breastfeeding Week (1-7 August), we are inviting colleagues and families to share a photograph of their breastfeeding or breastmilk feeding journey for use on our Trust social media channels throughout the week.
This could be a "brelfie" (breastfeeding selfie), a photo of expressing, feeding expressed breastmilk, storing breastmilk, or any image that represents the giving of breastmilk to a baby. We welcome all experiences, whether your journey was recent or many years ago.
We would also love to include a short quote or reflection about your experience, although this is entirely optional.
Photos may be shared individually as part of World Breastfeeding Week social media posts or included in a collage celebrating the breastfeeding and breastmilk feeding journeys of our staff. Please only submit images that you are happy for us to share publicly on Trust social media and communications platforms.
By sharing our stories, we can help celebrate, support and normalise breastfeeding and breastmilk feeding in all its forms.
