If you have been listed for a surgical procedure and have completed the relevant pre-operative assessment questionnaire, your Set for Surgery profile will be displayed in the Patient Engagement Portal+ (PEP+).
You’ll receive an SMS text message when your profile is active along with a link to access the portal. It will display highlighted risk factors on areas including:
- Alcohol
- BMI
- Smoking
- Diabetic control
- Blood pressure control
The traffic light colour system will show areas that need your input to help provide the best possible outcomes to get you in the best shape and ready for surgery - reducing risks of complications and improving your recovery time and avoiding delays to your surgery date.
