Welcome to the Perinatal Pelvic Health (PPH) Physiotherapy and Midwifery joint services webpage.
We are here to help you during your pregnancy and in the first year after your baby is born. Our team includes midwives, doctors, and health visitors.
Some people may have problems like:
- Accidentally weeing when they cough, sneeze, laugh, jump, or run,
- Feeling like they always need to go for a wee,
- A heavy feeling in the vagina,
- Pain when having sex,
- Trouble holding in wind or poo,
- Pain in the pelvis during pregnancy,
- Perineal tear and wound concerns.
Doing simple things like trying to improve your general health, managing stress, and practicing pelvic floor exercises can help these problems.
