Our Stroke Therapy Team covers inpatients and the community which encompasses the Morecambe Bay footprint.
The Stroke Therapy Inpatient Teams can be found at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary on Huggett suite and Furness General Hospital on ward 6.
There are 2 community teams covering the Morecambe bay area - 1 based in Lancaster and 1 in Barrow and both cover the South Lakes patch.
Patients could be seen in their own home, an intermediate care facility, a nursing / residential placement, or they may be invited into a group or clinic. We are also a part of NROL - Neuro-rehabilitation online and regularly refer patients to partake in this.
