If cancer is suspected it will be investigated using various diagnostic tests such as biopsies, x-rays, scans and blood tests etc. Your results will then be discussed amongst cancer specialists within the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meeting to plan your care. This will be discussed with you at every step so that you can make informed decisions and access the information you need.
